Our LVobj or “objects” provide an easy way to explore the flexibility of our LVadmin product once the plan set up is complete. With LVobj a programmer can easily link the calculation engine and other features of the LVadmin product to another part of your business – be it a customized participant website, call center, etc. LVobj can be customized to allow your participants to run “what if ” statements, change demographic data, if necessary, and view their plan provisions outside of your human resources or third party administrator’s office freeing your staff to concentrate on other duties.
Once a defined benefit plan is running in LVadmin, participant services via the web can be just hours away. Our work in COM/DCOM (Component/ Distributed Component Object Model) technology has provided the means for our full-featured pension systems to be linked with rapidly-implemented special interfaces – such as voice response, call centers, and the Internet. Clients have the ability to interface directly with our core calculation engines that have enabled them to replace our user interfaces and perform calculations over the internet. The implementations of Lynchval’s objects are thus fully scalable and distributable across any number of calculation servers, providing the ultimate in custom pension participant services.
And while interfaces such as voice response and web can be linked, our object collection provides straightforward integration of defined benefit calculations into other applications and processes, such as Microsoft Excel and Word. If needed, Lynchval can provide you with an example web site, which has full, live defined benefit calculation capabilities. Although not provided as a part of a standard LVadmin installation, you can request a copy of Lynchval’s objects to quickly launch basic participant web services or to use as a starting point in creating a more elaborate benefits calculation web site.
