Electromechanical Tester

Primary responsibilities include design verification testing of new systems, products, and platforms; failure diagnosis; and certification of electronic hardware, firmware, and software. Integrate new test systems by working with developers, learning functionality, creating test specifications and procedures, and documenting results. Analyze data and take corrective action as required. Ensure the integrity of hardware acceptance tests and compliance with customer drawings, specifications, and procedures. Specify and construct test fixtures and assemble prototype units as required. Work with product development teams to create, plan, and implement test plans, acceptance criteria, and procedures for new and existing products.

Required Skills and Experience: An ASEE is required; a BSEE or BSEET is preferred. Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience in a testing and/or product development environment. Basic knowledge of AC/DC fundamentals, digital logic, printed circuit boards, electronic troubleshooting, and manufacturing processes. Ability to read and analyze schematics, engineering requirements, data, and test results. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and conscientious. Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to use general test equipment, including oscilloscopes, function generators, and DVMs. Working knowledge of spectrum and protocol analyzers is a plus. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications:
Five years of experience in financial services systems development. At least five of these years involve primary technical responsibility for systems design and development. Experience should include a demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams and provide technical leadership to more junior staff. Candidates must have demonstrated experience with MS SQL, C#/C++ programming (preferably in an unmanaged environment), and experience in the development of web-based systems utilizing products/languages such as Visual Basic, .NET, and Crystal Reports. The candidate must have demonstrated government or commercial contract experience utilizing state-of-the-art technologies or specialized skills in support of IT system development efforts.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service and technical support via phone, email and remote support software to current and prospective customers, and participate in activities which include, but are not limited to:
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and identify network issues.
  • Perform beta testing and report on new products.
  • Use a trouble ticket system for tracking issues and problem resolution.

Develop project/part cost structures with competitive supply chain recommendations and accurate cost models. Lead customer and supplier pre-production APQP activities to ensure 100% on-time delivery and zero defects. Prevent and resolve issues during project launch through collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal functional groups. Implement continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives with customers and suppliers. Participate in supplier development activities for current suppliers. When needed, develop new suppliers. Other responsibilities may include miscellaneous cost studies and reconciliations, production floor cost-saving activities, and system and process audits.
Tool Design Engineer

Industry: Aerospace manufacturing.
Responsibilities Create design layouts and review reference material to ensure that all information needed to complete and check the work is available. Notify the design manager of any problems. For design-and-build jobs, review build estimates during the initial layout and discuss any questions with the design manager before proceeding. During layout, review the estimated design hours and promptly notify the design manager if the estimates appear incorrect. Prepare approval drawings for internal or external review as required. Upon approval, complete the model and finish the assembly. Detail drawings as required, following appropriate design standards. Make corrections after the design has been checked. Review the final design for errors, compliance with customer standards, and manufacturability.

UG NX is the preferred CAD software.
